About

In a world flooded with photos, one can wonder how to make the audience stop for more than a second on a picture. Stephen Shore says somewhere that a photo has to be “resolved”.

When I take pictures I’m in this state : “How to find the good one?”. This blog tries to show this, and therefore is about variations in photography.

My name is Jean-Pascal, I’m a French amateur photographer. I use a little smart Canon G9X mark II and a subtle tank which is the G3X. I’m not really a computer buttons pusher, thus I try to make my pictures “with the cam”, not with Photoshop.

I have another blog here : https://afrenchtoolbox.wordpress.com/

Thanks for reading! Have fun!

Photography: How to Wood Barrier & Water Lily?

Photography: How to Wood Barrier & Water Lily?

Well, I was in front of this barrier and wanted to catch this curious scenery-mood, with this pale blue sky and the corn behind. I could have gotten closer and shoot the whole line but no. The sun was hidden and it helped for the “decor” mode, but for the third one le soleil was back and then the picture sounded more real.

A few minutes later I was in front of this flower. How to show her beauty? From above, with the nenuphars? Or should I get closer?

I give you some Satie in the end.

Have a nice day!
